Rev. Dr. Jackson Clelland serves as the Senior Pastor/Head of Staff of Presbyterian Church of the Master in Mission Viejo. A native Canadian, he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, anticipating a career in business. Sensing God’s call to ministry, he returned to school to complete a Master of Divinity at Regent College in Vancouver, B.C. During that time, he met his wife, Malaika.
Following seminary, Jackson served as a solo pastor at Zion Presbyterian Church in Angus, Ontario. He has since served as Associate Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church in San Diego, and later at University Place Presbyterian Church in Tacoma, Washington, prior to coming to PCOM in 2011.
Jackson and Malaika spend much of their time taxiing their two daughters, Madeline and Chloe to taekwondo, piano, and soccer. Jackson’s other active pursuits include longboard surfing, skiing, and weight lifting. He’s also just generally a really cool guy.
